Discovery Plans

Pay for attention.
Not placements.

Discovery Days let you decide where Pique focuses across the people, capabilities and organisational priorities that matter to you.

No placement fee when an introduction becomes a hire.

What is a Discovery Day?

A day of Pique's attention.

A Discovery Day is one day Pique pays attention to one of your Discoveries — understanding what matters, watching what changes and bringing forward what is worth your attention.

1 active Discovery × 1 calendar day = 1 Discovery Day

Three Discoveries running today use three Discovery Days.

What the attention actually does

Ongoing attention, not a one-off search.

Understand

Pique keeps refining what the Discovery actually needs.

Watch

Pique monitors professionals, relationships, availability and relevant movement.

Notice

When something meaningfully changes, Pique brings it forward.

Introduce

When someone is worth meeting, you can request an introduction.

Keep learning

What happens next improves future Discovery.

You are paying for Pique to keep doing this work around the priorities you've chosen.

Allocation

Your organisation holds the days.
You decide what gets the attention.

Your organisation
120 Discovery Days
Allocated
  • Finance Director45 days
  • Head of Operations30 days
  • Commercial Manager20 days

Your shared pool of attention. As priorities change, unused days can be moved between Discoveries.

25 unallocated

Days are used only while a Discovery is active. Pause a Discovery and its unused days remain available to move elsewhere.

Introductions

Discovery Days are not introduction credits.

One Discovery can lead to several relationships and introductions. You are paying for Pique's continued attention, not individual outcomes.

Discovery is not a vacancy

Use Discovery before
you need to hire.

  • Build relationships with future finance leaders.
  • Understand the market for a capability you're likely to need next year.
  • Strengthen operational leadership.
  • Explore who could support international growth.
  • Prepare succession options before they become urgent.

A Discovery can begin before a vacancy exists. That's why the commercial model is based on continuous attention rather than placement outcomes.

Quiet days

What are Discovery Days doing
when there's nothing to show me?

Paying attention.

Some days surface someone worth knowing. Some deepen understanding. And some give you confidence that nothing important has changed.

The value is continuous awareness — not a feed of artificial activity.

Nothing here needed you. Everything else is being watched quietly.

When days run low

Pique tells you. You decide what happens next.

Add more attention, move unused days from elsewhere, pause the Discovery or leave it as it is.

The difference

A different commercial structure.

Traditional placement model
  • Search begins when a role opens
  • Fee linked to a hire
  • Relationship often ends with the process
  • The next requirement starts again
Pique
  • Understanding already exists
  • Discovery can run continuously
  • Attention goes where it is needed
  • Multiple introductions are possible
  • Relationships accumulate
  • No placement fee
What you are not paying for

Not per seat.
Not per CV.
Not per hire.

  • No per-user licence simply because more people in your organisation need access.
  • No charge for viewing another professional.
  • No introduction fee.
  • No percentage of salary.
